1. Avoid severe shock and impact

Rolex watches are sturdy but precision instruments. It is recommended to remove the watch when playing ball games, exercising, lifting heavy objects, or engaging in strenuous activities to prevent movement displacement and balance wheel damage.

2. Control the temperature environment

Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, high temperatures (sauna, hot spring), and extreme cold. Excessive temperature differences will affect the performance of lubricating oil and accelerate the aging of gaskets.

3. Prevent chemical corrosion

Avoid contact with perfume, hairspray, cosmetics, detergents, seawater salt, etc., as they may corrode the bezel, strap, case and waterproof gaskets.

Rinse the watch with clean water regularly when sweating heavily.

4. Automatic watches stop when not worn for a long time

It is normal for the watch to stop after being left stationary for about 48 hours. Before wearing it again, manually wind it 20–30 rotations first, then wear it for automatic winding.

5. Always lock the screw-down crown

After adjusting the time/date, press the crown back and screw it tightly. Otherwise, the watch will lose water resistance and be prone to dust and water ingress.

6. Manual winding for long-term storage

The power reserve of a mechanical watch is about 48–70 hours. After it stops, manually wind it 20–30 rotations before wearing again, then wear normally for automatic winding.
